The Struggle is Real

Well I have been carving more or less non stop since Christmas (except for a 2 week vacation down south). The new shop has been a GREAT asset. Nice warm and dry in these cold snowy months.

The downside to winter months up here is your logs get VERY frozen in place. I had run through most of my easily accessible stuff but then tried getting out some of the bigger frozen ones with my little tractor and truck, only to break straps and chains so gave up. A friend came to the rescue with a MUCH bigger piece of equipment. THANK GOODNESS! Freed up a whole bunch of logs and back to carving I go!
